What do you do at the dragstrip in Las Vegas in July? You race at night. And if you're racing at night, you might as well wear your jammies, right? The second annual Jerry's Nugget Championship Drag Racing Series Pajama Party Classic was held July 16. The temperature at midnight was 100 degrees, down from 116 during the day.

Ken Phillips' AMX won the Super Pro final, defeating track points leader Chris Naffziger. Bob Moudree was the Pro winner, Dave Phillips claimed the Motorcycle title and Bill Dudley won Sport Compact.
