Since there will be only one NHRA national event held at the Joliet, IL track next year, the 22nd annual Jeg's Allstar event will move to June. Racers began accumulating points for next year's event on July 1 of this year. The top points earners in each class will qualify to represent their division at the 2006 Jeg's Allstars. Points are based only on divisional races.
The winning team splits $20,000. The winners in Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car earn $7,000 each. Comp and Super Stock winners earn $6,000 each. Super Comp, Super Gas, and Super Street winners earn $4,500 each. Runners-up in each class will receive $2,000. |
