It was a family affair
in Nostalgia Super Stock, as first cousins Jeff
Puckett (shown) and Jimmy Gardner squared off
for the first time ever in a final round. Puckett,
a series regular, won with an 11.02 on an 11-second
dial in his 1967 Pontiac Tempest, while in only
his third race all year, Gardner broke out in
his '66 GTO.

Bob Hall made several
passes in his new Chevy Astro wheelstander,
with his
best on Sunday being a 9.97 at 136 mph on just
the rear wheels.
