The JEGS Super Quick Series was held April 6-7 at Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, IL, just across the Mississippi River from downtown St. Louis. An iffy weather forecast for Sunday changed the schedule somewhat with no time runs allowed for cars that were not on the property on Saturday. There were 300 entries for this special event which also included the Gateway Bracket Series race No. 2.
Tom Klemme of Davenport, IA, cleaned house this weekend at Gateway Motorsports Park. Klemme won the Motorcycle class on Saturday and Sunday (Charles Willis Jr. was runner-up both days). He also was entered in the Super Pro class Sunday and defeated Kegan Hagendorn (Hermann, MO) in the final.

Mitchell Carter of Mayfield, KY, won Saturday night’s JEGS Super Quick Series finale. He defeated Jay Oakley of Philpot, KY.
On Sunday, however, Oakley got to celebrate in victory lane with the big check and his dog after winning the final round of JEGS Super Quick eliminations. Oakley defeated Kegan Hagendorn (Hermann, MO).
Sarah Stewart of Washington, MO, was a double winner Sunday night. Sarah won the Jr. Dragster Thunder division over Noah Taylor (St. Louis), then defeated Baylee Mize (Harriman, TN) in the Jr. Dragster Run-off finale.
