Holley EFI courses now offered in western U.S.

Holley is now able to offer their in-depth, informational Holley EFI training seminars in the western region of the country through EFI University.

Racers, engine builders, tuning shops, and performance enthusiasts don't have to travel to Holley headquarters in Bowling Green, KY, to learn the intricacies of Holley electronic fuel injection. Now, those on the West Coast have a much closer option – EFI University in Lake Havasu, AZ, where they can receive the same software training offered at Holley and learn advanced tuning techniques.

"Holley EFI has experienced tremendous growth over the past five years," Holley’s Robin Lawrence said. "Several years ago, we tapped Tom Kise to lead our on-site training program, and as word spread, classes typically would be booked eight months to a year in advance. A lot of people can't wait that long, and now, with EFI University, they won't have to."

At EFI University, courses are available at three different levels: Introduction to EFI, Advanced EFI Concepts, and High Performance Engine Tuner Certification.

Once rust starts, it’s nearly impossible to stop and what begins as a little bubble can quickly become a losing battle with oxidation. 3M Auto has announced 3M™ Rust Preventer Spray, a one-step solution to preemptively combat rust from the inside out. Rather than disassembling trim pieces or removing weather stripping, the pliable applicator and 360-degree wand inserts easily into small crevices and holes to prevent rust formation in even the hardest to reach areas.

Team Aruba gets first PDRA Pro Stock win of the season

Trevor Eman and the Aruba.com Pro Stock team overcame high temperatures and mechanical problems to get their first win of the 2017 PDRA season at Darlington Dragway.

After qualifying fifth in the 16-car field, the team got past Dwayne Rice, WHOEVER and Cary Goforth to get into their first final of the season.

There they met with Buddy Perkinson, driver for Enoch Love. Eman drove to a 4.079 on the eighth mile

In addition to the heat and tricky track conditions, Team Aruba ran into a mechanical issue.

“We were in a pinch with what we suspected to be a shock issue this weekend,” Eman explained, “and we had the opportunity of having Adam and Andy Lambert from Precision Racing Shocks come by and look at things and sort through some stuff with us. We were very grateful for their support on race day.”

The PDRA North-South Shootout will be held June 1-3 at Maryland International Raceway in Budds Creek, MD.
