New Drag Racing Racewear from Stand 21
French manufacturer Stand 21 has more options in its drag racing suits line that has already clad a number of NHRA Top Fuel and Funny Car drivers in only 7 years since its introduction. The La Couture Dragster and Air-S Dragster embrace the technology of their ST3020 HSC predecessor, while allowing new options that will guarantee racers the optimized visual aspect with the customization and made-to-measures options that have built the Stand 21 reputation. Technically, the brand's proprietary pAIRformance fabric is still on top of these SFI 3.2A / 20 certified models, providing unmatched breathability levels and a high degree of stretch-ability to never restrict body motions. Customization is now also available on drag-racing gloves and boots. [07/18/17]

Thursday, Aug. 31, is the date for the 9th Annual Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament.
The tournament benefits the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN, and has long been one of the favorite charity events of the season for the drag racing community. Past and present NHRA stars including Morgan Lucas, Brandon Bernstein, Shawn Langdon, Steve Torrance, JR Todd, Alan Johnson and Ritchie Crampton are confirmed to tee it up with the race fans at Eagle Creek Golf Course in Indianapolis before the biggest race of the year - the U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway Aug. 29-Sept. 3.
Former NHRA Top Fuel driver Morgan Lucas and his wife, Katie, founded the Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament in 2009.
Medlen, son of JFR tuner John Medlen, was a popular NHRA Funny Car driver who died during a testing accident in 2007 in Gainesville, FL.
For registration and sponsorship opportunities for the tournament, please contact Brittany Bailey at (317) 350-2166 or bbailey@lucasoil.com. [07/18/17]
